The 2021 Paul Pernot Bourgogne Cote d’Or has now been out for approximately 10 months and has really settled down and is drinking better than ever. Always a customer favorite, the 2021 was limited in supply due to hail and frost and we cannot get anymore so now is the time to load up.
'Outstanding/Top Value'/Allen Meadows (Burghound): From Puligny vines on the Meursault border - vinified in stainless steel). A more flora if less spicy combination is comprised by notes of mostly white orchard fruit and more discreet citrus influence. The succulent, round and caressing flavors possess good punch as well as equally good mid-palate density while delivering better depth on the zest-inflected finish. This is very good for its level and worth a look. Drink: 2025+.
