The Cava d'Onice Rosso di Montalcino is made from 100% Sangiovese, blended from Cava d’Onice’s three vineyard sites. On the nose, aromas of cherries, blueberries and flowers explode from the glass. The fruit on the nose is striking, and mingled with the floral notes.  On the palate, this Rosso di Montalcino showcases the balance of flavor concentration and structural elegance Montalcino is known for. The tannins are soft and yielding and the acidity refreshing and bright. The finish is long and graceful, punctuated by a wet stone minerality and gorgeous intensity of fruits.
