A few years back, Bernardus planted a new block of Merlot in the celebrated Marinus Vineyard in the Cachagua region of Carmel Valley. Most of the Merlot goes into the Marinus Estate Bordeaux style blend, as well as some for a small production on its own. It’s already a roaring success and we are certain you will love it, too!  How it ended up as a close-out offer we cannot explain but we jumped on it !

Tasting Note: Fruit-forward aromas of strawberry juice, light mint and cola pop on the juicy nose of this bottling. The palate is also loaded with ripe and smashed red fruits, lifted by a touch of sarsaparilla, proving easy to quaff.
