Riesling
Riesling is a white wine grape variety that originated in the Rhine River region of Germany, France, Austria, and Switzerland. Riesling wines are made from a single variety of grape and can be dry, semi-sweet, sweet, or sparkling. Riesling wines have natural flavor profiles of: apple, apricot, peach and/or pear. German and Californian Rieslings are sweeter, while French and New York varieties are more dry. Australian Riesling has a fuller body and higher alcohol content, and its texture is sometimes described as oily.
