Champagne
The Champagne region is a large agricultural and industrial area in the northeast of France. It's known for producing champagne, a sparkling white wine that bears the region's name. The famous Champagne vineyards are in an area known as "Champagne Viticole". They're located on the chalky hills to the south west of Reims, and around the town of Epernay in the département of Marne. Marne produces two thirds of all champagne.
