California State law prohibits the return of alcoholic beverages. Returns on defective wines are permitted on current release wines for credit or replacement within thirty days of purchase. All returned wines must include a receipt, the bottle, and at least 75% of the original wine.
We do our best to ensure proper temperature-controlled storage and provenance for wines in our store. However, we cannot be responsible for wines older than the industry standard of five years from the latest vintage.
We do not accept returns of any opened spirits.
For wines damaged by heat during shipping, we will assist you to resolve the matter with the shipper. However, we will only refund up the insured amount. If no insurance is purchased, then the maximum amount refunded will be $100.
We consider wine to be out of our control once it has been handed over to the shipper and we cannot be responsible for improper storage after it has been delivered, and as such we cannot accept returns for the following reasons:
- Wines that do not coincide with personal tastes.
- Any adverse condition affected while in customer's care.
