Syrah is a dry, full-bodied, red wine. It's one of the darkest-colored wines, with a deep purple hue and not much translucency. Syrah is known for its bold flavor and body aromatic notes of smoke, black fruit, and pepper spice, high tannins, aging potential and intense taste.  Syrah is grown in many wine producing regions around the world, including, Australia, The Rhone Valley in France, The US, Spain, Italy and Portugal.
