94 Points - Jeb Dunnuck:  A bright straw/yellow hue, the 2020 Champagne Les Fortes Terres Extra Brut is entirely composed of Meunier and sourced from the single lieu-dit of LFT. It was vinified in stainless steel tanks and aged on the lees for 40 months before being disgorged in September 2024 with a dosage of 0.5 grams per liter. The nose is more intense, with notes of green clay, and it’s fruity on the palate, featuring ripe white peaches, raspberries, and candied citrus. It has a pillowing and lightly frothy mousse at this early stage, and it has a more approachable feel. Drink 2025-2040.
