88-90 Points - Vinous:  The 2023 Puligny-Montrachet Villages has a crisp, quite animated bouquet with wet pavement and Granny Smith scents gently unfolding on the nose. It needs just a bit of coaxing. The palate is well balanced with a fine line of acidity, though it doesn't achieve the same degree of complexity as some of the previous vintages. Nevertheless, this is well balanced with good weight. Maybe it has more to give?

90-92 Points - Jasper Morris:  A pale lemon and lime. Super clear. The bouquet needs a little coaxing, with a citrus touch, exceptionally precise and refined, like the Chassagne shows its class and style much more on the palate. Middleweight, very persistent. I can see how this would grow as you work your way down the bottle. Drink from 2027-2030. Tasted Oct 2024.
